Tectonic Revolving Plates Society is an online hobby music label of sorts that is located somewhere in the land down under. It is ran by two young lunatics by the name of Ryley and William, whose past-time hobbies include mucking about, wrestling with kangaroos and (occasionally) creating stuff as the duo "yellow." and um... they also had a brief life as (c)rap cringe pranksters Aussie Anarchists Indeed, but we... don't really wish to talk about that.

Before this thing came about, it had a now-defunct predecessor going by the ever-so-thoughtful name of "Tronio Bonio REC Board". Initially, it was booted up as a personal main label for the duo's (well, mostly Wills) past musical endeavours, which as of recent have gone with the wind because apparently MEGA wasn't cool with holding onto files for too long. As of writing this up (november 2023), this moniker has been completely inactive for 2 years, 10 months and 4 days now. It wasn't until the middle of 2022 however, that the boys would consider reviving this old idea for a part-time hobby back up again, under a new image and a new-found determination to shed some light on various musical curiosities, which they intend on doing a good amount of in the next year. The name came from Ryley mistaking "tronio bonio" for "tectonic botanic records", which eventually evolved into an even more silly name from there.

With THIS label, we aim to give artists both local and non-local regardless of genre and sound a fair platform to share their artistic visions with the world, and we may branch out this project a bit more further in the oncoming future. In the meantime, we'll be operating in this small space in the digital realm for a bit as a net-label... although, we may do the occasional short-run physical here and there. You never know and neither do we; we like surprises here.

So, thanks for stopping by! We hope you'll find something here that can appease you in any way shape or form. Support your local musicians, ladies and gentlemen. (and also anyone else who doesn't fall under any of those umbrellas. we don't discriminate here.)
